One of the first things that you need to think about when checking for auto tires is what kind of tire you have to get. Simply because car tires may be either winter, summertime or all-season models. They differ through the structure of the thread and the surface of the actual tire, and also some chemical ingredients of the rubber and a few other inner properties.
Because of the differences in structure and handling abilities, you mustn’t commute on winter auto tires during the summer and vice versa. Winter season car tires are manufactured for temperatures under 9C, and if the air temperature is higher than that, chances are they’ll end up very soft (sort of like a clay), and break down much earlier than their suggested lifespan. At the same time, while using summer tires in winter months, they can harden quickly and start to feel sort of like a plastic material, that’s why your car could become impossible to handle on a snowy or icy road. All-season tires are kind of a compromise between the other two kinds and are generally equipped where climate conditions are moderate.
For best choice in tires you should check out some of the local stores in Seattle, some we’ve featured below along with a few comments from yelp.com visitors:

Nicole F: I am continually amazed by this place. My car’s computer has continually told me “tire pressure too low” repeatedly for over a year now, and no matter how much air I put back in the tire, it keeps getting low again. Took it into Discount Tire for a replacement, and they couldn’t find any leaks–so they rebuilt the sensor for that tire and resealed the entire inner lining of it–and didn’t charge me a dime. You gotta be kidding me. Every company on Earth should take customer service lessons from this place, they are truly incredible. Thank you Discount Tire, I’m forever a customer .

Sonya L: I have been going to this place for years and have nothing but good things to say. I moved away from West Seattle and still travel there to have my car serviced, that should tell you something. I think what I appreciate the most is that I feel I can trust them with my car and not feel like someone is just out to get your money. They truly go the extra step to make sure you are taken care of. Hey guys!!! its Sonya…lol

He was nice person, had the tires I needed put them on fast and didn’t fuck up my car like DICKScount tires did plus he gave me a great deal.

I was with my 4 year old daughter and she was kept busy with small play area that they have setup for children within their shop. They also have free wifi, pops ,coffee etc.. They didn’t even charge me for the repair and I have made up my mind that I will get my tires replaced from them just because the level of service that they gave me !!!!
